Judith Marion-McFadden obtained her Interior Decorating Diploma in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She brought these talents to Puerto Vallarta where she has found a need for many different approaches to decorating because of the nature of real estate in Puerto Vallarta coupled with the fact they are generally a second home to many Americans and Canadians. One of her specialties, and a niche she enjoys very much, which is in high demand for Americans and Canadians; is that of decorating in conjunction with complete furniture and home decor packages. People that purchase properties here are faced with the arduous task of determining how to furnish, decorate and fully stock their home or condominium with everything from washer dryers to bed linens, in the limited amount of time that they can spend here. Judith has done many packages and offered this service initially to our real estate clients and then branched out to anyone desiring this type of service. The following is an example of how she provides the service and what it would cost you to use her:

Her current service contract consists of two parts:
1. An intial $5,000.00 USD fee;
2. A twenty percent (20%) charge on any item she purchases which may sound like a lot but when you consider, for example that she may have negotiated anything from a 20 to 60% discount on prices and then only mark it back up 20%, you come out ahead of the price you would have purchasing power for. Not all items are like that as some are strictly retail but the fact that the service allows her clients to come down on their first trip after buying, move in and simply enjoy their property without having to go through the painstaking process of buying furniture, appliances, accessories, bedding, cutlery and everything else needed to make the unit comfortable for living.

"In September of 2007, we bought a condominium in Puerto Vallarta. The unit we bought was new and did not have any furniture or decorations in it. Our options were to try to decorate and furnish it ourselves and try to coordinate the operation ourselves from 2000 miles away or find a local decorator.
